As part of living out our mission statement, “Bound by Christ, to Break Boundaries,” Peace works with organizations across our community, region, state, country, and world. Our contributions range from providing space to meet to making financial contributions. Some of these partnerships are more formally defined, while others are simply by virtue of one of our members having found a passion for a particular project.
We take pride in being a congregation that “equip[s] the saints for the work of ministry…” (Ephesians 4:12). Many of our members come to Peace to find the grounding in faith that then sends them out to serve the community. Sometimes this service is in the name of Peace Lutheran, but often it is through participation in one of the many wonderful ministries being led by other organizations. As Lutherans, we take the idea of vocation seriously, and celebrate the many ways that our members share their baptismal call to service in the world.
