IMG_3890But if anybody does sin, we have a advocate with the Father- Jesus Christ, the Righteous One.  He is the atoning sacrifice for our sins,  and not only for ours but also for the sins of the whole world. (1 John 2:1-2)

Whoever claims to live in Him must live as Jesus did. (1 John 2:6)

However you define sin, one thing is for sure. There is no Christian alive who has not sinned and there is not one of us who has not been hurt by the sins of others.

It is hard for me to forgive. Yes, I can nurture a resentment for a very long time.  Yet, how many times, while feeling righteously indignant about  being wronged by another have I been reminded of a time when I hurt others by my action or inaction?

How many times have I been forgiven? Too many to count.

To live in Christ means to live in a continuing state of grace and forgiveness.  By the grace of God, my sins are forgiven and by that same grace, I can learn to forgive others.
